2007 Season

The Bridgemen Rock the House in Rochester!

We finished the 2007 season with another charged-up performance at the DCA Alumni Spectacular. Beautiful weather and a determination to max out our show let us end the season on a high note.

The 30th Anniversary of our DCI East win got us in the right frame of mind. Our down-to-Earth show was a hit with spectators as we thrilled to the audience's response! Thanks to DCI for inviting us to perform again at the 2007 DCI Eastern Classic.

Bridgemen Spectacular on Labor Day Weekend!!
September 1 to 3, 2006
Drum Corps Associates Alumni Spectacular - Labor Day Weekend 2006 - Tropical storm Ernesto was wreaking havoc with the Eastern seaboard and Rochester saw its fair share of rain and wind. Nonetheless, the Bridgemen Drum & Bugle Corps of Bayonne, NJ were determined to do a great job of performing.

Bridgemen Alumni Corps had a GREAT performance and a GREAT, receptive audience in Allentown, PA!

The night seemed to end too quickly for us, but we'll savor our memories of the day for a long time to come. We surpassed the sum of our parts and showcased the Bridgemen attitude: focusing on doing our best and giving our all in a spirited performance.

The feeling was unanimous that the performance had been everything we wanted it to be. Now, the addiction to performing has fully returned, and there is already a little sadness that only three shows remain this season.


Tournament of Stars Featured an Emotional SLAP DOWN Performance by The Bridgemen!!!

It was a VERY good day to a Bridgemen member. We ran off the field, waving to the crowd: pleased with ourselves for delivering a heartfelt, emotional performance. And also for making all Bridgemen who came before us proud.


Memorial Day Weekend Brought Out the Best in the Bridgemen!!!

George thanked us for our contribution to making Memorial Day 2006 such a success for the Bridgemen and for all we'd given to the city of Bayonne. It was a GREAT day to kick things up a notch and soak in the appreciation of the crowds!

The Bridgemen Family Mourn the Loss of Msgr. Joseph J. Donovan

Monsignor Joseph J. Donovan passed away Friday. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes in 1964 to bring about a Catholic Youth Organization in his parish. 1965 was a memorable year for Bayonne as a new musical entity was born and flourished for years to come.

November Rehearsal a Huge Success!!

People from all over the country came and took part. It was impressive to hear all the years of drum corps experience in the room. The Corps was introduced to some of its new staff members and then proceeded to break out and learn new routines.


Bridgemen Alumni at DCI Eastern Classic!!

The Bridgemen Organization is pleased to announce an agreement with Drum Corps International to perform at DCI's Eastern Classic on Saturday night, August 5th 2006.


40th Anniversary Reunion & October Rehearsal Were a Blast!!

A memorable gala with friends and family was highlighted by a performance by the Bridgemen Mini Corps. The next day brought us together for our first full corps rehearsal of the new season.
